Key Stage 1 Writing Standardisation Examples
Standardisation Exercises - By Year and By Writing standard
Since 2017, the Standards and Testing Agency have provided standardisation exercises for moderators to demonstrate their understanding of the KS1 writing standards - Working Towards the Expected Standard, Working at the Expected Standard and Working at Greater Depth.
To support staff, I have put these into the standard awarded and which year the standardisation exercise was produced.
Teachers find these very useful to support their judgments of the standards but also to share with children as examples.
