In alignment with the expectations outlined in the Writing Framework, these documents will assist schools in mastering sentence development and will supplement appendix D and E of the Writing Framework. 

The two documents—Sentence Development and Punctuation Development—are crafted to support and guide staff in delivering the grammar expectations set forth in the National Curriculum appendix 2. 

Many English leaders are effectively utilizing these resources with staff throughout the school to enhance subject knowledge and ensure that the grammar concepts from Appendix 2 are both consolidated and understood.
